Dunno Clegg seems to say anything that's closely popularist just to appear in the papers.
And who would have thought a 100 years ago that Labour would have spent anytime in power, regardless of the socialist progressive idealogy or the quasi watered down Thatcherism of the Blair years.

Re: not long to go now...
fair enough, but I still think the Lib Dems took a massive leap backwards when they elected Campbell leader, and Clegg isn't the person to bring them back to the point they were at in the last elections.
i'm actually dreading next May, at the moment I'm not sure who I'd vote for, so will have to read over all the literature closer to the time

Clegg and Campbell are both as horrific as each other, I think Huhme may have given the Liberal's at least a backbone much like the SDP of the 80's
It's a worry mind that Vince Cable still seems the only person who knows what's going on with the economy in WM, interesting fact though was Alastair Darling is now Labour's most popular cabient minster, polling only 3% lower than Osbourne, compared with the 20% gap of Clarke and Mandleson.
With the Europeon Elections vote for someone who you feel is right because your vote counts more than it ever will in a general election bar unless your in a swing ward.
I would avoid voting Tories more so in Europe mind, they side with some of the worse Europeon political parties around some even further right than UKIP.

Why. Did I miss the news? Do we have more than one viable party now?

i didn't think we even had one viable party, but a lot of those fringe parties scare the shit out of me, and I've renounced my former ties with the OMRLP so can't even raise myself £500 to stand for them and give myself a bail out
i still think we need a referendum for NSC
