my next project is to work on a gig poster for my favorite band "ash of course!" i shouted in class, so i have to create something but can't use something used before, so i want to find a way to incorporate one of their songs and star wars (maybe) into it so any ideas? and i can use black white, and one more color

Use an understated colour. A palish blue works quite well with black and white, and could tie in good with the Star Wars theme.

It's a play-bill of "The Printemps de Bourges" is a music festival on Bourges (France).

heres the final result, not the best work, couldn't find pale blue so went with "galactic blue" lol bought the ink last minute anyways: after a long hard day of blowing up the empires death star the rebels head to....

had to take the pics with my sis's cam (mine hasn't arrived yet) so i'll take better photo when it comes =P i was gonna make it comic booky and have han say "lets go see ash kid!" but figured it'd be too dorky for my teacher =P
