But if I were mod I could edit all his posts and replace his links with links to my, frankly AMAZING, videos.

Does he even know about this place?

Yeah there should be. We could discuss Gibson Sg's and boss pedals. Stu deserves to be the mod, his covers got me into idlewild, and made me wanna' learn hysteria. party

Very Happy:D

Have you learnt Hysteria then? I'm SO glad I got someone into Idlewild, what stuff have you heard so far? Cause their latest stuff is MILES different to their earlier stuff.

Ahhh cool! I'd say get 100 Broken Windows next, it's generally agreed to be their best album (was the one before Remote Part). Then if you want heavy stuff, get Hope Is Important and Captain EP, more mellow stuff get Warnings/Promises, and for a mixture of fast and slow stuff get Make Another World (latest album).

I had a Fuzz Factory but I sold it cause I stopped liking Muse as much... they are pretty good tho and you can get a cheaper version where literally the ONLY difference between that and the expensive one is that it's not handpainted. Everything inside is exactly the same.

Yeah I know about the vexter model, it's like made in tiwan and isnt handpainted but who gives a balls, it's £100 cheaper.
are you a self taught guitarist? I am, I'v been going nearly a year now and I'm pretty happy with all the crazy shit, I tryed to work out what they ment. ie. vibratos, tapping, dampening, TAB READING ect

We should Jammm.

That reminds me, I have to try recording my bass again now I have my Zen back. Nothing short of proffessional equipment has the capability to record my bass clearly :(

That would be cool Very Happy might be a bit hard given that there's about 200 odd miles between us but hey. I am worried you might show me up tho Razz

I'm not self-taught, I did try teaching myself but I wasn't really getting anywhere so I had a load of lessons. I'm quite glad about that, taught me some stuff that I COULD have learnt myself, but probably wouldn't've known about (scales, alternate picking etc) without the lessons.

Also with the Vexter Fuzz I'm pretty sure they're made in the same place as the regular ones... I could be mistaken. Like I say, as far as I know, the only difference is it's not handpainted.

WHERE'S MY FORUM???????????????????????????????? party flaming gun

Idlewild's newer stuff (100 Broken Windows onwards...) is way better than their old stuff. Somewhere along the way they discovered how to write catchy tunes, instead of churning out punky abrasive noise.
