ron paul still lives! he's holding a 'major' rally to kick off a campaign to get his supporters seats in congress and in local politics (surprise! they're all neckbeards working in IT with a couple of ex-strippers and people who literally want things the way they were before 'the war of northern aggression'), and...

MINNEAPOLIS/ST. PAUL - Rep. Ron Paul (R-Texas) complained Sunday about the notion that the government "must bail everybody out" and said Hurricane Gustav will not change his plans to hold rallies in Minneapolis this week.

really, when your 'strong and consistent principles' (except when they aren't) have you regularly saying things like "fuck the drowning, I've got mine" it might, just MIGHT be time to reevaluate them. this is the man who once likened the killings in Darfur to a 'market correction' though.

Karl Rove:
With all due respect, again, to Governor Kaine, he's been a governor for three years. He's been able, but undistinguished. I don't think people could really name a big, important thing that he's done. He was mayor of the 105th-largest city in America. And, again, with all due respect to Richmond, Virginia, it's smaller than Chula Vista, California, Aurora, Colorado, Mesa or Gilbert, Arizona, North Las Vegas, or Henderson, Nevada. It's not a big town. If he were to pick Governor Kaine, it would be an intensely political choice, where he's said, 'You know what? I'm really not first and foremost concerned with, is this person capable of being president of the United States? What I'm concerned about is, can he bring me the electoral votes of the state of Virginia, the 13 electoral votes in Virginia?

"Leaked: Homer To Vote For Obama

In an episode of 'The Simpsons' slated to run November 2, Homer Simpson will vote for Barack Obama.

As Homer tries to vote for Obama, a machine changes the vote to McCain and proceeds to kill him."

I think it's a documentary.
