souness is a twat!!! i remember when he was our manager and someone phoned him up claiming to be george weah and he told him all about his cousin and that he had played for paris st germain and capped by senegal. souness being the dick he is, signed him on the basis of that phonecall and he ended up on the bench against leeds cos we were short of players. anyways, le tiss come off injured after like half an hour and this ali dia matey come on and was fucking useless!!! he got subbed in the 2nd half and never played for us again

that's one of the all-time great managerial cockups, George Weah isn't even Senegalese ffs!

rocky, yeah souness a good example of a modern corrupt manager - he's also bought Rangers players for over the odds at every club he's been at - getting players he likes and helping out his old mates at the same time. Not as prolific as a Redknapp or Venables but definitely a cunt.

Souness is definitely dodge. There were rumours a year or two ago that he was getting a consortium together to buy out Saints. Doesn't really bear thinking about.

who? only one I can think of is bjørnebye who played more than 150 games for the club. He was no Maldini, but far from a flop.

just looked it up and it seems to be just Stig and Torben Piechnik. also Glenn Hysen was at the club from the previous manager.

Matt'll know better but the only deal there that worked out and was decent value seems to be Mark "stop playing like a nigger" Wright.
