ITV did this loads in the middle of matches during Euro 08, so probably just an inept technician. the fact that they left the ads on so long AND cut out half his post-match interview maybe points to them selling ads within narrower timeslots than they should be for a cup tie, so they had to show them before a certain time.

either way they're inept cunts and should have lost all football coverage years ago

the chances are that it was during an ad break anyway since they're longer than the game, and why would anyone whinge about missing fucking american "football"
