If you’re sick of the hype for this collection (which some of you seem to be), then perhaps this post isn’t for you. All others: More details after the jump! So here’s the skinny: The first pop-up shop will be inside the Louis Vuitton Soho flagship in New York City, which will debut on July 10, according to Women’s Wear Daily. After that, pop-ups inside or adjacent to LV boutiques will open in Singapore, Tokyo and Hong Kong, with a second Tokyo pop-up inside the Dover Street Market in the Ginza shopping district. louis vuitton outlet store The round of pop-ups will conclude with two department store locations in Europe: one inside the Printemps flagship in Paris and another one, measuring up at over 1000 square feet, in Selfridge’s in London. Those boutiques will open on August 23rd and 24th, respectively. WWD didn’t publish dates for the Asian locations, but indicated that they’ll be opening in the intervening five weeks between New York and Europe. So now that you’ve seen the whole collection, know when it’s going to show up and have had some time to think about it, Louis Vuitton Handbags what’s your impression? Do you think it will be as popular as the Murakami collaboration, or are you ready for to stop seeing spots?

In life, there are a few great equalizers: the DMV, the checkout line at Duane Reade, the Ticketmaster website the morning that Lady Gaga tickets go on sale. Louis Vuitton Sunglasses For celebrities, the great equalizer seems to be the airport; no matter how rich and famous they are, unless they fly on only private plans and out of private airports (and almost none of them do), Louis Vuitton Luggage legendary movie stars and reality famewhores alike need to go through security, submit their bags to X-ray machines and submit themselves to the paparazzi who endlessly trawl LAX and JFK, waiting for them to make the walk from their gate to their waiting car service. No one escapes certain rules of modern air travel. Louis Vuitton Men Bags Because of that, we have a great deal of photographic evidence explaining exactly how stars travel, and it looks as though there’s a second great equalizer at the airport besides the TSA: Louis Vuitton luggage. Stars overwhelmingly favor monogram canvas Keepalls and Pegase rolling suitcases as their go-to designer carry-ons, but other pieces and materials get a little bit of love as well. More than anything, though, it’s impressive how much Vuitton’s travel gear seems to cross all kinds of lines – gender, race, age, career type, fame level – to saturate the celebrity market. Check out the LV pieces preferred by everyone from Jane Fonda to Kim Kardashian after the jump. Louis Vuitton Purses Somehow, it feels right to start with Kim Kardashian. Not only are the Kardashians CONSTANTLY in airports (I think I’ve seen more pictures of them at LAX than on red carpets), but Kim’s Louis Vuitton Hat Box, a version of which retails for $3,000 via Louis Vuitton, is pretty damn cool. Hers appears to be a larger model than is available online.

To be perfect honest, it’s been a long time since I even felt 100% sure that Louis Vuitton was still making its brightly color Monogram Multicolore canvas. Louis Vuitton Wallet It’s a look I associate so heavily with the early 2000s, with Jessica Simpson when she was still married to Nick Lachey and toting her Louis Vuitton Monogram Multicolor Speedy all over MTV on Newlyweds, and when the economy crashed and Simpson and Lachey got divorced and people mostly stopped wearing Juicy Couture sweatsuits, Louis Vuitton Shoes the majority of Vuitton customers moved back to regular monogram or on to one of the brand’s other materials. Something as taste-specific as Monogram Multicolore can only stay on top for so long. That’s why I was a bit surprised to find the Louis Vuitton Heartbreaker recently. In both stingray-trimmed and full canvas versions, it’s a new Multicolore option that might have people considering the material who haven’t thought of it in a long time. I wasn’t a fan of the look the first time around (at all), but with a full pink stingray flap, Louis Vuitton Belts dare I say that I’m intrigued? Check out more versions of the bag after the jump and let’s discuss whether or not Monogram Multicolore can make a comeback. I’m a bit surprised at myself for liking this bag at all, but the mix of stringray and vachetta leathers and just a bit of monogram in the white version feels very spring-like and appealing, on a certain level. Louis Vuitton Evidence Millionaire I’m not as enthusiastic about the black stingray version or either of the all-canvas options, but I could see why they’d appeal to people who already like the material. If nothing else, this is the first time I’ve looked at Monogram Multicolore with anything but disdain in years. Maybe ever.
